THE BLUES:
The extension was built in a wood frame structure that remains visible in the living kitchen. On the one hand, this created a contrast in materialization with the existing house and, on the other hand, it saved on finishing. The rough visible wooden structure provides a warm finish to the interior. The rhythm of the wooden beams is determined by the position of the skylights and the openings in the fenestration. The window frames and wooden structure join perfectly, making the window frames invisible in the interior.
