BLUEBERRY HILL:

An existing warehouse listed as architectural heritage in Kortrijk will soon be sustainably transformed into a collective residential building. The former warehouse, originally a wooden snuff windmill for grinding tobacco, was formerly known as the "Soetes Molen".
The transformation is carefully designed with respect for the existing warehouse, whose building envelope has aged over the years but has also been affected by pollution, additions and planting. The design preserves the original building envelope and adds a new structure in wood construction, following the "box-in-box" principle. As a result, the building retains its original character and atmosphere, but is provided with modern comfort. 🌱
