DEAR FARM:

In just 147 days, a farmhouse for a deer farm was built using Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), a form of wooden construction.

Initially, the client aimed to repurpose the existing farmhouse into their residence. However, due to budget constraints and desired comfort levels, extensive deliberation led to the decision to demolish the old farm.

In its place arose a modern rendition of the classic 'long-facade' farmhouse, seamlessly integrated with their red deer farming enterprise.

The focus was on simplicity and maximizing natural light, creating a stark contrast to the dark interior of the original farmhouse.
