A DIALOGUE BETWEEN OPPOSITES:
Three volumes, one narrative
This project reimagines the transformation of a former café and adjoining barn into a light-filled home, two volumes connected with a newly built passageway. Together, the three volumes form a cohesive ensemble—each with a distinct atmosphere, but designed to be read as one architectural story, one spatial narrative.
Our team was responsible for the complete interior design and offered aesthetic and architectural guidance for the building’s transformation. Architecturally, we focused primarily on the rear façade and the connection zone, including the front façade of the passageway.

MORE ABOUT THE CEILING:
Warm wood finishes, layered curtains, and clusters of circular acoustic panels define the renewed auditorium. The design brings softness and structure, helping the space perform—acoustically and atmospherically.
The three-dimensional layout of ceiling and wall elements doesn’t just absorb sound—it brings a playful sense of rhythm and creativity, shaping spaces where students can both focus and connect.

MORE ABOUT THE CEILING:
The entrance foyer was redesigned as a colourful threshold between spaces. With its bold green tones, built-in lockers, and a sculptural star-shaped light fixture overhead, this transition area feels both refreshing and inviting.
The warm grey flooring matches the adjoining rooms, creating a continuous flow between the spaces.
